I don't know if that game calls for functions available in MSXML 4.0 SP2 SDKīut you can read the instructions from MS on the same page where you download MSXML 4. Firstly download MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 3 from Microsoft. Then do a fresh download and install of the necessary MSXML downloads. Well recently after a week or 2 of not playing it, when I did try to play age of empires 3 it started fine, I clicked on play and then an error message came up saying MSXML 4.0 was not installed correctly? I do not understand this as the game was working perfectly when I first installed it - there a few things I've changed on the computer since I've played it but I can't think why they'd affect the game?
